Soul TravelMultidimensional Existence

Soul Travela.k.a Astral projection (astral travel) is an interpretation of out-of-body experiences (OBEs) and is one of the practices of Echanka, Religion of the Light and Sound of God. Eckankar is ancient wisdom. Its teachings, emphasize the value of personal experiences as the most natural way back to God. Whatever your religious beliefs, Eckanka shows how to look and listen within yourselfto expand your consciousness and enjoy spiritual freedom. Learning, perhaps for the first time, how to lead a happy, balanced, and productive life and put daily concerns into loving perspective. OBEs are achieved either via deep meditation, awake and aware transitions, lucid dreaming or use of psychotropics. Those who believe in Soul Travel maintain that their consciousness or soul has transferred into an astral body (or double) which moves in tandem with the physical body in a parallel world known as the astral plane.

The understanding of Soul Travel dates back to ancient China. There are two schools of thought on the nature of Soul Travel, these are defined as the mystical model and the phasing model.

The mystical model includes a variety of belief systems and astral maps, but they are tied together by their belief that Soul Travel takes place outside of the actual physical body. A more subtle energy body is believed to carry the consciousness outside of the physical body, and as one progresses to more advanced levels of the astral plane, more subtle bodies are realized and consciousness is transferred in turn to each of them. (Other mystical models assume only one subtle body.) The subtle body is attached to the physical body by means of an energetic connection which usually takes the appearance of a silver cord 'plugging' into the chakras like an umbilical cord. I have seen this silver cord. It has been suggested that the cord is related to etheric projection, not astral. If the cord was associated with just astral projection, then we would see it every time we astrally projected.

The phasing model, defined by Robert Monroe, contains the belief that it is impossible to actually leave the body in the truest sense of the word, and that the astral planes and the physical world are merely points on the long spectrum of consciousness. When a person projects, they actually "phase" into another area of consciousness and the locales it contains. This can be likened to tuning a radio to another station. One of the initial signposts representing a phase shift away from physical reality has been labeled the state of focus (mind awake/body asleep). This viewpoint can be seen as a logical progression of the philosophy that external reality is actually an internally created state.

There are four types of Soul Travel:

UnconsciousUnintentional a person is unaware and had no intention to Soul Travel usually during sleep or sometimes a person is awake, but seems to be absent.

UnconsciousIntentional a person is unaware, but had no conscious intention to Soul Travel does not remember the experience clearly, may have some images, but has no definitive recollection.

ConsciousUnintentional a person is aware, but had no conscious intention to Soul Travel

ConsciousIntentional a person is aware of the experience and intentionally created the Soul Travel experience.

To perceive other realities, we have to use the Inner sensesmethods of perception that belong to the inner self and operate whether or not we have a physical form. The Inner Senses expand normal consciousness and allow us to become aware of our own multidimensional existence. Seth, from The Seth material.

One of my ConsciousUnintentional Soul Travel experience occurred while mindlessly dusting. Being in nature is a passion. As I dusted I found myself standing on a path near the Bell Rock vortex in Sedona, AZ. The experience was magnificant as I was living in NJ and missed the beautiful skies full of Love, Spirit energy and awesome beauty of the red rocks jutting high into the sky in all directions.

Another ConsciousUnintentional Soul Travel experience occurred while I meditated. I saw myself looking back at myself sitting in the chair meditating.

Do You Dare to Dream Big?

When we dare to dream big with faith that our dreams will become reality, that is precisely when our dreams come true.

It is one's own self-limiting thoughts that are the roadblock to limitless probabilities in our lives. When dreaming, there are no limitations. Do you remember day dreaming as a child? Dreaming that you could be and do anything that your heart desired? I am certainly not advocating being childish.

There is great empowerment, however, in being child like when dreaming. Removing any preconceived notions of what is possible and what is not opens up the gateway for the un-abandoned fruition of your dreams.

As adults, so many of us limit ourselves by spending time thinking of the reasons our dreams cannot become reality. Sometimes thinking can be overrated. If you are going to spend time thinking about the dreams you have for your life, it is far wiser to spend time thinking of the reasons you can make your dreams come true.

Your future lies within you. So dream big and do not limit yourself in any way. You are the author of your future. Absolutely anything is possible once you believe it to be with all your heart.
All of us can dream our destiny. Almost all successful athletes, for example, visualize ad dream their success into reality and so can you.

Make the time each morning and evening to dream about the desires of your heart. Dreams attract to us our experiences and results in our lives.

So, while you are dreaming, dream big and you will soon see that you are your own best dream maker. What your mind can conceive you can absolutely achieve.

Like so many things, practice makes perfect with dreaming as well. Just begin and you will soon see it comes rather naturally. What do you have to lose?

Only the life of your dreams, so get started today.

Successfully Achieving Your Goals With Visualization

Did you know the power to achieve your goals is not in a book or in someone else's hands? You have the power to reach all of your goals, the big ones as well as the small ones. If you can see yourself reaching your goals you can make it a reality. Visualization is a big part of being able to attain any goal! Many people fail to picture themselves reaching their goals and this is what holds them back from being as successful as they could be.

Allow Visualization to Get You There

When you set a goal for yourself do you often envision yourself reaching that goal and then talk yourself out of it? Do you constantly have a negative dialog going in your mind that talks you out of everything that you want to do? Don't allow this to happen. Instead of allowing for these negative thoughts to take over and control your destiny, literally allow yourself to "see" that moment when you reach your goal. You could even picture yourself every step along the way to give yourself greater clarity as to what it is you are trying to do.

If you have a hard time visualizing yourself reaching your goals you don't have to give in and give up, what you need are some tools around you to help create the picture in your mind. Often you need help just visualizing yourself in a calm place along the way when things get stressful, busy, or just a bit too hectic. You can do this by looking at a favorite saying or picture and then making that your reality, even if it is just for a few minutes time. You would be surprised at how simple and effective something like this can be.

If you need help with visualization while you are at your desk or on your computer you may find that it is helpful to download free wallpapers. Downloading wallpapers to your desktop may not sound like something that will help you reach your goals, but when you download an inspirational scene that you can draw strength or relaxation from, you'll find out that this may be exactly what you need! Who knew that visualization aides could be as close as your desktop?

If you want to succeed and to reach the goals that you set for yourself in this life you have to have a plan. Part of this plan is being able to see yourself reaching your goals and being able to visualize yourself in peaceful and constructive settings, even when you aren't in one. If success were easy to attain than none of us would have to set goals, we would just reach them, this means that you'll have to work to become successful but through visualization it can become a reality for you. Visualization can be as easy as a picture, a quote, or even downloading free desktop wallpapers! Surround yourself by all of these tools and make it happen for yourself!

How to Find a Spiritual Community

Spiritual communities provide benefits we can't find in other social circles. Throughout known history, people have sought out such communities. And in these communities they revealed the most important and personal developments in their lives. Joys and sorrows, vows and confessions, hopes for a better life beyond life on earth, and fears of eternal abysses have all been shared in spiritual communities around the earth. And yet, spiritual communities have also been the causes of much deep-set heartbreak and disappointment. Corruption and depravity have destroyed churches, synagogues and mosques, as well as numerous alternative spiritual communities. Then the faithful often scatter, and some decide to never trust or be a part of a spiritual community again.

How can you know if a spiritual community is likely to be strong and hold integrity or become corrupt and fall apart?

Common Pitfalls for Spiritual Communities
The quality and dedication of a spiritual community's leadership is central to its success or failure. The most common cause of a spiritual community's breakup is the fall of the leadership into sexual or financial scandal and opportunism.
Spiritual leaders often are confronted with great temptation to abuse the trust their congregations or students have given them. Misguided or troubled members may offer sexual favors or naively believe that sexual relations with a spiritual leader will help them grow spiritually.
Many religious and spiritual organizations also keep no checks and balances on the moneys generated through their membership and services, and the leaders are allowed to take extravagantly from the generosity of others who trust them.

Finding the Right Spiritual Community for You

How then might you find a spiritual community with integrity? You can start researching the websites of various groups. Do note that there are hate-groups and people who deride almost all small spiritual groups, so do not go by what they are saying on the Internet.

Instead, if you see a group that interests you and that resides in a place you are willing to travel to, find out if they have introductory classes or services which you could attend to get to know them. Ask about their sexual and financial mores: Do the leaders or ministers sleep around? Do they make exorbitant salaries that are not commensurate with what their typical members make? Do they live ethical lives?

When you visit the communities you are considering joining, trust your heart. Is there an atmosphere of warmth and love that is also honest and open? Does this group help their members learn better communication skills? Do they teach how to develop a deeper relationship with God?

You will want to know yourself enough to know what you are looking for. If you want a quite in-depth spiritual training program, then you will need to find a place that offers that. If you mostly want a social spiritual group, then look for that. Take your time, trust your heart, and treat yourself to a spiritual community with which to grow and deepen.

Great Video For Opening Your Christian Minds

I was reading a book on advertising when the author mentioned, "All Advertising Is about Hope."

This got me thinking about other people's dreams and aspirations, most of this is wrapped around them hoping to accomplish something or do something. I never gave it much thought but hope is one of the most important things in our lives. Some people go around hoping that they will keep their job, when the economy is in bad shape. Others go around hoping for forgiveness for their sins or other bad deeds they have done in the past.

What is it you're hoping for? There's got to be something. Are you hoping to become a multimillionaire or even the world's first trillionaire. Are your dreams big or small? Are you the kind of person who is happy living a simple life with very little possessions like a Buddhist monk or are you one who is seeking the lifestyle of the King.

Hope supplies us with the will to continue through hopeless obstacles during our lifetime.

Most people seeking hope are looking for a way out of something or a way toward a better life. These people often fall easy prey to large religious organizations, as they take them under their wing and slowly start to brainwash them. They seek the weak minded, helpless, poor and trusting people and build their organizations using them. I once believed in Christianity, but it no longer offers me true hope, the more I study Christianity and other organized religions, I noticed certain similarities based on inspiration.

I hope I live the good life, so I can go to heaven, the promised land, our ultimate enlightenment.

I hope I am living the true will according to God, Buddha, Krishna or other supreme beings.

I hope that the Bible is wrong about the 144,000 people from the 12 tribes.

I hope I'm living a life that is pleasing to the Lord.

If you're part of an organized religion, ask your religious leaders, any questions that you have about your religion. If they can't answer these questions, try to find them on your own. Books, videos, and the Internet are great sources for information. If you're living your life for the sole purpose of going to heaven one day, you could be disappointed, when that day arrives.

Ask a couple of questions and I hope you will get honest answers to them.

Read and Change Your Life

Most people read a book and if it's good, they might recommend it to someone else, but if the book is great, you can guarantee they will recommend it to everyone who is interested or who they think might be interested in the book. In the field of personal development, one book comes to mind, it's called, "You Can Have It All" by Arnold Patent.

I found the book in one of our antique thrift stores and paid less than $10 for it, I really didn't think much of it and never heard of Arnold Patent before. We've all heard of Anthony Robbins, Susie Orman, Wayne Dyer, but I never heard of Arnold Patent. I skimmed through the book and it looked like a short read. I read the book in about six hours and plan to reread the book, as soon as I get it back for my daughter. The book has short chapters, most of them less than five pages.

Looking at the short chapters, you could get the impression, that there isn't very much information in each chapter, how could there be with less than five pages and some chapters less than three pages. This was very deceiving to me, because each paragraph, was like a chapter and each chapter was like a small book.

The book is full of tools and advice and combines personal development with spirituality. He has chapters on meditation, energy, enjoying what you love to do for the rest of your life, cause and effect, abundance, attachment, pain and suffering, harmony, karma the past and forgiveness.

I can't tell you what a pleasure it was to read this book and if you're looking for some basics on quite a few motivational, spiritual and laws of attraction topics, this book has almost everything you need to get you interested in changing your life. You could actually read one chapter a day and think about it for the rest of the week, there's that much information in each chapter.

I was reading one of his recommendations and it was from Oprah Winfrey, she said, "It was one of the most important books that I had ever read." That's coming from one of the most successful people in the entertainment business. I stumbled across this book and might not have ever found it, but I'm telling you about it and highly recommend it.

What's Christianity

The old testament mentions King Solomon as the wealthiest person that ever lived on the earth at that time and there would be no one wealthier than him in the future. Does this qualify him as a rich person?

There is also the story of the talons. This story mentions a master who rewards one of his servants for using the money his master left him to make more money, by investing it. The slave that chose to bury his talons in the ground, to hide and protect them was considered to be slothful and wicked.

Does this mean that all men and women that invest their money and seek profits are good people? Why would these people be considered good and a rich man will have a hard time entering the kingdom of heaven?

Is there a difference between King Solomon's wealth and the rich person in the Bible verse, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Now maybe these are just stories created by man and has nothing to do with what the Jewish and Christian God really thinks. But if there is a difference between King Solomon and the rich person, what's the difference? Does King Solomon really get to enter the kingdom of heaven?, or as Jesus mentioned, will it simply be harder for him to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Didn't King Solomon build God's temple and create a beautiful world for most Jewish people to live in? If you're not confused yet, you will be if you continue to read more of my biblical verses that just don't make sense.

If you're what I would consider one of God's ultimate believers in your religion but have no proof that it's true, but choose to answer with the simple statement," You'd Need to Believe or Have Faith." I would suggest you read other books about other religions or spiritual living .

This is just one example of what I would consider a story in the Bible. If you truly view the Bible as the ultimate guide for good living, do you get confused with certain statements or Bible verses. This really doesn't answer the question, whether or not someone like King Solomon actually gets to enter the kingdom of heaven. I used him as an example but there are many others that could have a life of riches on earth, but difficulties going to heaven if the statement Jesus made was correct about the rich man in the eye of the needle.
